General Information & Schedule

The league has been successfully running for over 30 years in the community.  The league runs the week after labour day until the end of October / early November.  Teams will play an average of 2 games per week: 1 weeknight game (Monday – Thursday) under the lights, and one game Sunday morning (11am) at a local high school or community field. 

 

Format of the Game

It is primarily a passing game with 7 players on the field per team at a time.  It is one-hand touch.  A team has 4 downs to reach mid-field to get a "First Down", and a fresh set of downs (4 more) to reach the opposing team’s end-zone. 

 

Team Makeup

Team rosters usually have about 10 - 15 people including spares. Each team has a captain and an alternate representative.  Players must be 18-years of age or older, and both men and women are welcome!!!

 

Getting Into The League

Your registration fee to play covers your insurance, league fee, and lighting for all your night games. Each team will play approximately 18 games.  Each team captain will be invited to a captains meeting near the end of August to hand in their roster, registration fee, and review the updated league rules. We average approximately 13 - 15 teams per year with the hopes of some more growth as more teams are always welcome!!
